Wedding season is upon us, an infectious bubble of love and laughter, we can’t help but get swept up in this celebratory time of year.

Newlyweds, Bex and Chris were our first wedding of the season and what a wonderful start it was. Working alongside the amazing Studio Porter, as well as a whole host of other wonderful creatives specialising in flowers, signage, decor and more, we helped make Bex and Chris’s dream wedding become a reality.

This beautiful venue may look like it belongs in the Italian countryside, but it’s actually far closer to home. Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Compton Gallery is a unique space created by interior designer, Jane Slemeck. The idyllic wedding venue, the lovely Bex and Chris tied the knot here on the 22nd June 2022.

Working with such a wonderful venue, we weren’t short of inspiration. Steeped in history, the pebbled courtyard is surrounded by rustic, peach hued walls and mediterranean greenery that create the most exquisite backdrop. Instilling an air of romance, a canopy of festoon lights emit a warm glow, while the comforting crackling sound of a fire pit acts as an irresistible invitation.

A selection of our ceramics were chosen to add the final decorative touches to the day. Our Rosa and Porcelain bowls, as well as our Ebba platters were dotted around the marquee adorned with delicious Sicilian lemons. Our candlestick holders were simply placed along the tables with the flicker of the flame adding a delicate warmth, and our Hana Ikebana’s displayed beautifully curated blooms for all to admire.

The beauty of the day was captured by the amazingly talented photographers, The Curries. Gillian and Chris have had their work featured in international press, including VOGUE, Harpers Bazaar and BRIDES. Gillian even worked alongside Benjamin Wheeler in the coverage of the royal wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice in 2020.

We were honoured to be part of such a special day and we wish Bex & Chris all the happiness in their future together.
