fall into autumn

With the change in seasons come those heartwarming traditions. We’ve been keeping a close eye on the apple tree at the bottom of the garden these past couple of months, and we can see already that there’s going to be a bumper crop!

We’re making the most of those mild late summer days while we still can, it’s perfect for drying our work ready for the kiln and its so nice having the studio doors wide open with the sun pouring in.

One of the latest pieces to emerge from the kiln is this extra large bowl, it’s fluid and organic shape is inspired by rose petals. We think it’s perfect for displaying fruit and even for serving shared dishes. Delicate dimples adorn the surface which has been carefully pinched and pressed into shape.

We love to add small handmade details around our homes and we think this one will encourage us to make healthier snack choices throughout the day!
