A limited-edition gift to celebrate the new collection from luxury textile brand Kirkby Design, in collaboration with fashion and design company Eley Kishimoto.

Last autumn we had the chance to work on an incredible project, we were asked to make 200 hand-printed vases featuring an eye-catching design from the new collection.

Something new for us, this project required a lot of experimentation, perfecting the process which incorporated various techniques, including screen-printing, slip-casting, and layering of glazes. As this was an exclusive gift, we hand-wrote a unique serial number on the base of each vase before boxing them up in our eco-friendly packaging.

The end result was a sea of mesmerising monochrome, we love how sharp the black glaze turned out and how it contrasts so beautifully against the crisp porcelain.
