glaze test: matcha

With any new recipe, we use our little clay tester tiles to see how the glaze reacts with each of our different clays. Flecked, sandy, smooth or buff, it’s always exciting to see how the clay can affect the final glaze finish. The lower half has been dipped twice so we can see how a thicker application affects it too. ⁠
